Delicious meal, fresh food. This is an excellent restaurant which is part of a great Niagara-on-the-lake winery. The food is fresh, the cuisine is innovative, the service is excellent and the prices are reasonable. I would recommend it highly from anyone travelling at the region.
Lovely Lunch. I was recently in the area on business and had lunch with my travelling companions on the way back to Toronto to catch our flights. A lovely way to end our stay in beautiful Upper Canada. The spaciousness and openness of the high ceilinged restaurant, looking onto the lush green vineyards was fabulous on the cold, rainy day we were there in late November. The food was sumptious and perfect. I had the Lake Erie White Fish with a side of Lobster Mac & Cheese, served on Spinach and Pickled Fennel Slaw. The fish was crispy on the outside and perfectly, lightly cooked inside. The mac and cheese was the best I’ve had – not thick and glutinous, but rather creamy with a delicious, sharp-tasting cheese and nice chunks of lobster. Great wine list too, of course!
A wonderful way to spend an evening. Our server was very informative to help us decide and choose. Everything tasted fresh with beautiful presentation and a bevy of different flavours, aromas and textures! The recommended wine pairings went extremely well with our choices! The only negative thing that I have to say is that I can’t afford to go there more often!
Decadent food, delicious wine, great service and lovely atmosphere (they must have an incredibly talented interior designer). Definitely one of our top favs in NOTL.
Over all very good Room/atmosphere 9/10 Menu 9/10 Wine9/10 Appetizer 8-9/10 Middle 8-9/10 Entrees. Lamb10/10 Ribeye7-8/10-missing something Char10/10 Desserts- not great- I’d skip those Value- probably about 20% overpriced
Came here in 2000 and then now. Quality and setting both still outstanding. Do yourselves a favour and eat here!
Best Lunch EVER!. Amazing place. I knew from the reviews that it would be a good meal, but I didn’t realize that it would end up being one of the best meals I’ve had ever. Between my party of 4, 6 different dishes were sampled, all without flaws and absolutely delicious. Wine pairing was enjoyable too. Highly recommend. I cannot wait to go back!
