This is Authentic Chinese Food. This restaurant is geared toward authentic food, so it wouldn’t be the place to go for things like chicken balls. We had them cater to our church event where about 250 people mostly from the Chinese community enjoyed their food very much. Authentic Chinese food is also generally healthier and more balanced. Our family of 6 with young children finds authentic food hard to come by around here and are glad to come across it. I commend this restaurent for keeping it’s authenticity.

They also stopped serving chicken balls… what kind of Chinese place doesn’t have chicken balls, when I’m trying to feed a picky 6 yr old that’s a deal breaker for me12 Jun, 2014Its not great its not horrible. Has potential…. Decided to give this place a shot seeing as the only 2 reviews on here have been positive. Maybe the quality has decreased in the span of 5 months but I was a little disappointed. The price is very reasonable and the quantity of each dish is good. However the dishes we ordered were way too salty. Has the potential to be a good restaurant as the menu has a lot to choose from.
Very Surprised!! :). I decided last minute to grab some Chinese for dinner. I just drove down some random streets b/c I knew in stc it wouldn’t take long to find a place. I came across this restaurant and assumed it was going to be your typical western chinese style place with chicken balls and whatnot. I WAS WRONG! The menu here is more like what you would find at Asian Legend except a bit smaller and cheaper. More authentic style Chinese food is what you will find here.It’s a shame the place is in a bad location but you can tell they really try to make it nice inside. The lady that served me was very sweet and although sometimes there are difficulties with language barrier, she wears a big smile and it just becomes a fun thing, no trouble at all :)As for the food, I ordered the Twinkle Star Chow Mein and asked for it to be super spicy. I still think it could have had more spice to it but the lady gave me extra chili sauce anyways so it was perfect. The taste was amazing actually and the best tasting chow mein I have ever had! My only critical comments would be that the size of the meat and shrimp are VERY tiny. Maybe less pieces but a bit bigger would be a better presentation. Also, the noodles seemed a little dry… however, I didn’t eat it write away and had it in the fridge and reheated it so that could have caused the dryness.All in all, great friendly service and very fast! Food- Incredible! Will for sure be going back!! 🙂
