Revisited this beautiful restaurant after many years away. Truly, this was the best meal I’ve had that I can remember. Every dish we tried (3 appetizers, one entree and a dessert between the two of us) was a celebration of flavor. Each was so expertly crafted and presented, and tasted so delightful, we honestly could do little else but rave about the food as we ate it! Our server was attentive and had a lovely, easy manner. If there is a criticism it might be that the helping of the flourless chocolate cake was a bit small, but was rich and tasty enough to make up for its size. Happy 30th, Wellington Court Cafe! Your staying power is a testament to the brilliant dining experience you provide.

One disappointment was the $12 calamari appetizer that was clearly of Captain Highliner quality: frozen battered rings re-fried and served with a decent aioli sauce that was not enough to hide the offence. Just one flaw in an otherwise well prepared meal.
Consistently Great!. It is tough to be good, and even tougher to be great. Not once have I left Wellington Court feeling like something was missing. Every dish put on the table is presented beautifully and the taste always matches. Chef Peacock does wonders with a variety of different products and always manages to extract the best flavours from any ingredient. The attention to detail with regard to the food is simply outstanding. A great fine dining restaurant for those that love high end, creative and adventurous food.
