Great Lunch. I had the stuffed eggplant which was very tasty and filling. It had a fine herbed rice stuffing and was topped with a nice cheese and surrounded by nice tomato sauce.Desirea was a wonderful, friendly young woman who represented the establishment very well.Definitely would get this eggplant item again!Great job!M
Brunch. We had a great meal in the rear patio for brunch. Nice quiet setting. The food was served quick and hot. Desirea was a great waitress with a nice fun personality. We will return again and try out dinner as we were very happy and have been in Niagara on the lake several times over the years but some reason have not tried this spot until now and will be a returned customer.
Disregard my review from about a year ago. The place has totally changed for the worse. The Greek food used to be great now it’s not fresh food. The dolmades were totally not homemade like before, the spanokapita was manufactured as the shape changed and the phyllo no longer had a nice taste and texture. And the chicken on the village salad looked like the maple leaf packaged pre-cut kind at the grocery store. The food was so different we asked our waitress if the management changed. She said the kitchen manager and staff recently, well it is extremely noticeable to say the least.01 Sep, 2012The Greek food is all spectacular. I would highly recommend the spanokapita, dolmades, and the gyros. I mean come on if your going to a Greek restaurant don’t order a burger.
Worst and Expensive Food. I and my girlfriend went there on holiday. The food was terrible and meanwhile the mean came with hidden charge. A few piece of cold chicken meat cost extra and you won’t know it until you get your bill. Seriously, this place is just no good.
I visited this place last Sunday. . Service was abysmal; food was way below abysmal – one dish a seafood pasta was served with 3 of the scant mussels unopen – in a very goopy pink sauce.I have dined in NOTL several times before. NEVER AGAIN. Based on this experience, I would recommend that NOTL visitors to go to St. Catharines for dining-not the food mecca of Canada for sure, but half the price of NOTL restaurants
Great Lunch! I went to Yianni’s with some friends for lunch, we ordered the Ultimate Club, Souvlaki Pita, and Penne Catalina, everything was delicious! Service was great and the new renovations are cozy and welcoming. After talking to our server we learned the restaurant is under new management and she said the entire restaurant has much improved from previous seasons! I would definitely recommend this great little bistro!
Quality of food not good at all. You can get better food at any fast food place.
