Lunch. Went to Crusty bakery for the first time today. We had the curry soup and a pork, fennel and apple sandwich and a pulled chicken sandwich. Everything was excellent. This is a very laid back cafe so just relax and go with the flow. Do not leave without trying the bacon butter tarts!!!!Worth the drive from Ottawa.
They honestly have the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. Amazing price, unbelievable quality. French Baker that is truly a French baker – baguettes, pain au chocolats, loaves – amazing!!! Go for lunch now.
No longer serves breakfast. Went in expecting breakfast menu of crepes but they only serve soup and sandwiches now. Bacon, Irish cheddar, red onion, and apple sandwich was great, but not what we wanted for breakfast.
Great Place. Love it, Love it, Love it.A croissant made with real butter!A cheese with some bite to it!A sandwich made with an imagination for food!A laid back atmosphere, take your time, and forget about whats going on outside.
Not Impressed. Went there because I had to meet someone around the corner and thought why not try it…..WON’T be doing that again anytime soon………Walked in and was notice with in 5 min everything was out on counters not covered…….staff was sitting at table chatting and the food and the drink i ordered…..Oh my!! Watermelon lemonade threw out after first taste and the food well lets just say HARD! Sorry but this is how I felt.
Highly recommended!. We visited the Crusty Baker on our way from Ottawa to Toronto. It is a cute European style bakery/cafe. We had soup, crepe and cookies. The soup came in a casserole and was served with white and brown bread slices. Portions were very generous. Everything was very delicious and the prices were very reasonable. It was worth to a trip. We will go there again.
Lovely food!. …the crepes are delicious and the atmosphere is quaint, all in all a great combo…you will not regret your visit!
