2018/05/02Today at lunch I visited the Mega Street Food Complex, which houses 5 eateries under one roof. There is one ordering counter for all 5 outlets and a common seating area for about 16 people. After studying the 5 different outlet menus for a few minutes, I decided to order a Mango Grilled Chicken Burrito from the Akita Sushi Burrito menu. Although it is called a burrito, it is a large maki (sushi roll with seaweed wrapper), cut in two. About the size of a medium Mexican burrito. It was filled with rice, chicken, overripe mango, shredded lettuce, shredded carrots, cucumber, tomato, corn. They provided a plastic pack of soy sauce on the side. Interesting flavours and textures, but the mango was too ripe and too soft for my liking. It was pretty filling though.
