2016/12/14With all the burrito shops popping up all over the GTA, you better have top notch product, or a very good location. Burrito Place has the location check mark, being right near the subway station and various businesses and offices. On the taste side, I found their burrito to be pretty good. I got their Combo #2, which included regular size premium burrito, fries, and a can of pop. I chose the Shrimp Burrito. Several plump shrimp, with the typical fixings. You can chooses the wrap (white, whole wheat) and beans (black, pinto). All the other toppings are included, unless you choose otherwise. I like that they don’t charge extra for guac.

Passable. Ordered Beef burrito bowl. Got everything but tomatoes on the bowl. Beef was a brown (for lack of better words to describe) mushy textured slurry. I should have ordered steak if I wanted to see/taste a little more texture I guess. Ingredients tasted fresh at least. Good portion of beans, lettuce and rice. Ok portion of guac and could have had a little more sour cream. Unsure of what vegetables were supposed to be in there past lettuce ( have spotted a few pieces of corn so far). Service was fine.

A more down to earth burrito place with delicious and affordable compared to its American giant chain Chipotle. The chips are well toasted and tastes with rich corn flavours and its guacamole have a deep flavours of the natural avocados with a lovely balance of lime and lemon and parsley. The beef, and chicken and rice pinto beans used in the burrito are mouthwatering and the salsa used definitely makes me thinking about burrito even after lunch.

Been there twice, I live in the neighborhood. First time the manger treated his staff as slave in front of me. Second time he treated me as If that place were Taco Bell in pick hours. Mean manager, rude to customers and with his team. I had my taco and I left. Never again. To serve food u need to know how to treat your guest. Will close in 6 months.

Brutal with Cheese. Had the burrito with steak… figured there would be steak. Instead, I got a burrito full of brown mush. It was the most disgusting thing I had ever eaten. I noticed the minuscule portion of meat but chose not to say anything, why I’m not sure. The food was brutal, the service wasn’t impressive (the guy was wearing flip flops and shorts) and the prices were horrible when factored in with the quality. Never again…

Best Burritos EVER!!!! (and I’ve tried different ones). My fiance and I looooove this place. We found it by coincidence walking on Yonge st. one day. We were so hungry that we decided to try it but were skeptical at first. Boy what a pleasant surprise we got! This restaurant is a cozy, warm welcoming and very colorful place. I’m latin descendant and I’ve tried different mexican fast eateries in the city but this one is by far the BEST! Their burritos are so big and packed with toppings, not like others that barely add any amount of meat or any other toppings. The quality and freshness of the ingredients are so high. I found out that they actually cook the raw beans in a pot like the old style method, as opposed to getting them out of a can. The prices are very fair and reasonable for the amount and quality of food you get. Definitely a nice little place to go if you want to grab a quick bite or just take it to go. The service is ok, they don’t throw fireworks when you come in but they are decently polite, except for the owner who is sooooo nice, friendly and polite and absolutely goes out of his way to make you feel WELL SERVED! Awesome place, I would recommended and we are regulars since last year :)Katia

Terrible food & service. Both food & service is terrible. Went there and ordered food, the lady who was taking the order was busy as if she was not interested at all. Paid the money and waited for the food, and after some time the food was ready & served, we took a first bite & realized it was wrong meat in there – a wrong order. Upon telling them, there was a surprise look at the face (there were hardly 5 customers! & the confusion), they offered to change it. The food was not at all good so we decided not to have an exchange, will never be there again!
