They messed up my order several times and I found a rubber band in my food. This place was awful, never going back. I ordered a cold white chocolate latte and a fruit waffle. The drink and especially the waffle took forever to get to the table. Then they gave me a hot chocolate so I sent it back for what I ordered. They gave me a cold drink which tasted good but it wasn’t what I ordered. I wasn’t going to send it back again. So I was drinking it and another waitress comes with what I actually ordered, which didn’t taste good and she already took away the good drink that I didn’t order. About 15 mins later the waffle finally comes. I’m eating it and then I find a rubber band in it so I sent it back and I asked them for another one. Took like half an hour until I got it. Didn’t even feel like eating it anymore so I didn’t finish it. Overall had a bad experience, the food was mediocre and would not recommend.
A very cozy korean cafe that you would want to keep coming back! Its a nice place to head at when you’re craving for something sweet and trying to please the sugar rush!! Prices are reasonable and food presentation is just adorable!
Decor and interior is warm and cozy. Service was just alright; not much attention to details. Food is extremely overpriced. Pasta costed 10$ beforr tax and was itsy bitsy size. In comparison, probably a third of the regular korean stone bowls. Taste was average. When the bill came it was all in Korean amd korean only. We didnt understand it but seems like the amounts were all in won and seemed like they added their own 13% already for tips on the bill.
Making our way up to the 2nd floor where the cafe was located, we were warmly greeted by the two girls standing behind the counter and comfortably seated at a four-person table with decent lighting.Flipping through the laminated sheet of the menu, we decided that the Green Tea Bingsoo (shaved ice) seemed to stand out the most of their selections, and proceeded to order it.To be quite honest, it wasn’t what we had expected. This was my first time having bingsoo, and I had expected it to be more than just a bunch of random toppings placed above two cups worth of crushed ice. For a whopping $8.99, we received a bowl filled three-quarters of the way with unflavoured crushed ice topped with melty green tea ice cream (which was actually on the bland side), large tapioca pearls, corn flakes, a small scoop of red bean, and sliced bananas. (I still have have yet to understand why anyone would combine green tea and bananas…)None of the flavours complemented each other, resulting in an utterly disappointing dessert. The service was great and the waitresses were extremely friendly, but I just couldn’t comprehend how such a thing could be so inadequate yet so pricey. I really wanted to like it, but just couldn’t. Neither of us could. I don’t even know how all the other Instagramers made this look so good!Read the full review (with photos) HERE! http://bit(dot)ly/1S3lR3n quirkyaesthetics.com
