2019/05/01I had time for lunch at ChoWon before afternoon meetings at the client offices. Its around the corner from all the great visibility on Yonge St, so not as many people may know that it exists. It appears that they updated their decor in the not too distant past (based on looking at other photos). The current decor is simple, clean, modern lines. There is seating for over 80 at a combination of 6-top and 4-top tables, almost all of them with a built in table bbq. I chose the Bulgoki Dup Bap from the Lunch Special menu ($10.99). The beef was tender and a nice salty, with a hint of something sweet. It was nicely presented with the formed mound of white and purple rice. Along with six Korean side dishes, this was a tasty and filling meal. Service was fast and polite.
