2018/05/14I was curious about this thing called Large Fried Chicken, so I decided to try Hot Star for lunch, near my clients office. They had a few flavours, and I chose the Salt and Pepper Original Large Fried Chicken. Other flavours available were spicy, seaweed, plum and curry. I wasnt sure what to expect, but there was a picture on the menu screen showing a large piece of bread chicken, with the bone in at one end. And thats what I got. They butterfly a large chicken breast with the bone left intact. Then it gets breaded and deep fried, and served in a paper bag. The bone acts somewhat as a handle to hold the food as you eat. It was very hot, it was salty and peppery, and I was filling. In some ways it reminded me of as cross between chicken schnitzel southern fried chicken. Something different.
