Had the veal parmigiana and tried my wife’s chicken souvlaki. The pasta looked over cooked but it tasted good and the texture was fine so I can’t complain. The breaded veal cutlet was good and went down well with the spaghetti. My wife’s lamb souvlaki had those chewy parts in almost every piece of lamb so I’d stay away from that. They charge $1.50 for a glass of hot water with a slice of lemon which is ridiculous if they’re giving ice water for free. It wasn’t bad but I likely won’t go back. instagram.com
I’m not a salad guy, but there are two salads I can eat to no end – Olive Garden and Laterna! The Greek salad is simply done to perfection. But the thing that keeps me coming back is the souvlaki on a pita. Pork for me but chicken is also good. The pita is unbelievably good. Especially when you get near the end when it’s soaked in tzatziki. My family also tells me the pizza and steak are amazing too, but I just can’t seem to go there and NOT get the pork souvlaki on a pita!Update: May 2017. Sadly disappointing service today. A table seated 10 min. after us was served first. Poor water service. Ignored us at the table so we got up to get the check… and she left us to clean our table?!?!
Went here on a recommendation from a friend and have to say it was uber disappointing!! Very expensive for a very basic chicken souvlaki dinner. 2 skewers, rice pilaf and a terrible Greek salad for $20….are you kidding me? That should not have cost more than $10, there wasn’t even pita bread. Very disappointed in this place.
