We get delivery from Mezza Note often, usually order the veal parmagianna with penne, Italian Salad, gnocci and the Salmon pasta. These guys have mastered delivery, the food comes fast, is always hot and consistently delicious. We have eaten in the restaurant as well and service was friendly. Great spot.
Not good. Better food and service elsewhere.
Poor experience. Went there on a weekend evening for a party of 15 and the service was absolutely brutal. Dishes were mixed, orders forgotten (but they weren’t forgotten on the bill!), and our servers had no manners. She sternly lectured everyone not to move, which I completely understand as a lot of restaurants frown on seat switching, but the way she did it was extremely condescending. Someone got up to go outside, and he was told to sit down because she was taking dessert orders…he wasn’t even ordering dessert. The food wasn’t too bad, but really it was just average. You can get better food, better service for the same price at Terroni or Ill Fornello. I would definitely avoid this place.
Mezza. Great Restaurant, great food, great prices. The ambiance here is incredible and the staff are very friendly. The menu has a wide variety of delicious choices and the food here is incredible. I always go here when I visit Toronto. Book reservations though because it can get busy. Five out of Five Stars from me !
Disappointed- Lunch. Ordered a focaccia bread with prosciutto, arugula and cheese and I was completely disappointed! It was empty! I basically ate focaccia bread with 2 slices of prosciutto. Complete waste of $$ and disappointed. If you are ever in the Weston Road and Sheppard area, go to Panino Cappuccino – now they DO know how to make amazing focaccias and I was expecting the same considering this is Mezza Notte..
Great earth hour dinner. Visited on a Sat night, we had a group of 13. We were seated in the private room, it felt like we had the place to ourselves it was so quiet. They were even able to accommodate a semi-crying 2 year old. It was earth hour that night, so they dimmed the lights. I got the Pizza Genovese which was wonderful. We stayed a good 2 hours +, thanks Mezza Notte for a wonderful evening! Only thing that was a hassle is the tiny parking lot in front that only fits about 8 cars. I took the TTC so it’s a good 5-10min walk to North York Centre Station.
Class Joint. The evening began with a half hour wait. Clearly a misunderstanding of the word reservation. Followed by a free appetizer to make up for the wait. Very average food, which is stretching it a little. Finished with an argument in a parking lot with a disgruntled employee. Class joint. Instead try East-Side Mario’s. At least there you know what you’re getting.
