Nice little spot in North York. We eat a lot of sushi. Have pretty much tried the majority of AYCE sushi places in the North York/Thornhill/Richmond Hill area. Went there today, nice sized sashimi and fish:rice ratio. The tea is really fragrant, I immediately noticed something floral and different about it. The green salad was a little bare, just iceberg lettuce and salad dressing. The fish tasted good and fresh and they had a good selection of rolls and special rolls. Tried the super tuna roll, which is red tuna on the inside and white tuna (butterfish) on the outside with something that made for an interesting smokey taste. There was also a good selection of ice cream (vanilla, mango, chocolate, green tea, red bean and ginger) and a couple other dessert options. The service was awesome, really pleasant. Will be going again.
Good food and good service. This place is AYCE and it was very good. Their portions are small which is fantastic because, you’ll get to try each dish without over filling on rolls and such. The only thing I’ve noticed is that they don’t have a veggie stir-fry/teriyaki option in the menu. Bonus: They brew jasmine green tea, delicious and aromatic! Overall, I would recommend this place.
Absolutely horrible. Service was the worst I’ve ever seen in a place. On top of that they charged me a service fee. The waitress sat down to have lunch and left us for half an hour and didn’t ask if we needed anything. Never go here, will never come here again.
I’d say 6.5/10 ayce. Great variety! Service is okay, waitress was struggling when a large party came in.
Always amazing. My family and I are regulars at My Sushi and it is amazing every time. Decent prices, great food, and the service is very friendly. (Used to be awful, to be honest, but since a few months ago, the newly hired staff is wonderful)
AYCE sushi tends to generally taste the same, so when it genuinely tastes bad its noticeable. The mackerel was too salty and the salmon soggy. They used the wrong soy sauce and doesn’t compliment the sushi as it too was salty (I assumed they used light soy sauce instead of dark). The oil to deep fry the tempura was old and dark and overall presentation of the food was lack luster. I’m no food critique by any means but I found myself forcing myself to eat rather then enjoying.
Ive been here a number of times and the food has consistently been very good. A few times the service was lacking, but overall very good and great value considering its AYCE. It’s one of my favorite places for sushi in T.O
