My favourite KFC. A tad expensive but the portions make up for it for sure. The Golden Cheese Fried Chicken is amazing! Also order the Oden Soup and the Egg Cheese Roll. Service could be better but I can live with that as long as the food quality remains the same!
4.5 stars for the chicken alone, but only 3 stars overall because of some complaints.I love the flavour selection for the Korean fried chicken here, and the chicken was cooked well – juicy, not overcooked, and the batter was crunchy without feeling too heavy. I’d say it’s matched with my other favourite Korean fried chicken place – Buldak (Home of Hot Taste). Mymy chicken’s side dishes are better than Buldak’s. HOWEVER, this place is quite expensive especially when you take into consideration that all of the drummettes were missing from our chickens. When I overpay for a whole chicken, I expect to receive all pieces of the chicken, especially pieces as coveted as the drummettes. Wonder if anyone else had this experience? Also, I was very unimpressed with the mislabeling of one of the menu items. They called chicken gizzards chicken intestines. I ordered it, not realizing that it was misleading and I did Not like the seasonings. If I had known that it was gizzards, which I cook all the time for $3 a plate, I would Never have ordered it at $13 a plate. cookingwithalison.com
