Nolbu is this Korean bar/restaurant that is located on the side of the building. It’s a bit hidden but you can come across it walking down Elmhurst. The place itself serves Korean food, but dabbles in some Japanese dishes and sushi.It was oyster night, so we came in and had about a half dozen. As well, we ordered Japanese Beef Udon, and a Spicy Crab Roll. Even though this place is supposed to be a Korean restaurant, we did all Japanese menu items…They did come with the complimentary Korean side dishes like seaweed, kimchi cucumber, bean sprouts, and potatoes. Those were pretty good. The Japanese udon was a good portion and there was a lot of meat. The sushi was OK. It tasted fine, but closer to AYCE quality than anything else. The oysters were great, and definitely should have had a lot more of those.The place is pretty cool and they have a sushi bar as well as TVs in the event you want to catch a game. The menu is pretty eclectic, while the service was friendly and fast. The prices aren’t so bad, but I would say there are better Korean places just around the corner (literally). I’d come again for oyster night, where they have $1 oysters. cheatdayeveryday.com

Great atmosphere. Kind waiters, great service with very yummy apps (ask for more!). Their sushi had too much rice though. They forgot my friend’s dumplings. Ambiance was nice and the place was very busy on a Tues night
5 stars!. I’ve written this on yelp but, this a restaurant that covers all the bases: as in has drinks, korean food, sushi, dessert, and soon-to-come karaoke rooms and 24 hr service…. And it’s conveniently located right at yonge and sheppard! Food quality I have to say was very fresh and delicious, and service was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant itself was very clean and newly renovated! If you’re in the area, I definitely recommend stopping by. Prices are very affordable, will be coming back! Thank you!
A MUST-GO!!. This is by far my favorite and go-to restaurant for Japanese and Korean food (my 2 favorite cuisines)! The variety in their menu and their scrumptious food keep me going for more, and keep me hungry when I’m not there. I like that I can always trust in the quality of the food, especially because I am very picky when it comes to sushi and sashimi. The service is very friendly and sets the tone for the overall comfortable environment. The location and hours are also awesomely convenient, I can always stop by for a bite on late nights without having to hurry because they are closing. I just love this restaurant!
