2018/12/20Before I headed to the clients offices for afternoon meetings, I stopped in at Northwestern Chinese Cuisine for lunch. This is a small-ish restaurant with seating for about 20, with mostly community seating. I was there at noon and it was about half full. The waiter dropped off a menu, a pencil, and a small ordering form. After looking at the menu for a couple of minutes, I came to the conclusion that this was primarily a soup restaurant. I picked the Sliced Chicken Ramen in Soup ($8.50). The bowl that arrived was pretty large. There were pieces of chicken, bok choy, thinly sliced black mushrooms, and lots of long noodles, all in a flavourful broth. I was quite full and satisfied when I finished that meal. Good price, good lunch.
