2017/02/02I am continuing to explore the restaurants in the Finch and Yonge area during my lunch break. Today I came across Pho Vietnamese Delight. It was moderately busy, and the two people serving wet constantly taking orders, bringing food and clearing tables. They have about half a dozen lunch specials, but I stuck with their regular menu. I was in the mood for some vermicelli, so I chose #16, Grilled Chicken with Spring Roll and Vermicelli. The chicken was tender and tasty, and had some mild, smokey spices. There were a few pieces of gristle that I could have done without, and there wasn’t really any place to put it other than back in the bowl. The noodles were much thicker than I thought they would be. To me vermicelli should be very thin. These noodles were about as thick as standard spaghetti. Good, fast lunch.
