I came to this location of ShareTea for my old standby- the Hokkaido Milk Tea with tapioca and less ice and less sugar. My boyfriend claimed he didn’t want any and when we walked out of the store, he tried a sip of mine. It was so good, we turned around and he bought one.So yeah, this location of ShareTea definitely didn’t disappoint.
This chain has a few locations. ShareTea is my favourite bubble tea chain, but this particular location is terrible. The one at First Markham Place seems to be the best location. Share Tea has the best fruit bubble teas, by far. Great quality tea, real fruit, and great options for added toppings. I also really like the fresh and hot taro (real taro) milk tea, too. Note that their cheaper taro drink option is made with powder, Not real taro. Be careful, because I’ve caught the employees making me taro milk tea with powder when I ordered AND paid for the real taro version. The person at this particular location did not seem to know what he was doing. He didn’t speak English, was incredibly slow even though we were the only ones there, and our drink was way too sweet even though we asked for NO added sugar. cookingwithalison.com
Awesome Crema and bubble tea. Nice shop tucked in a small alleyway in North York. Manager Kwan was awesome at customer service……. Will be definitely be going again. Amazing bubble tea shop.
Worst service ever. I always buy drinks from 168 or other bbt places but share tea sells unique types of drinks and that is the only reason why I go there, OTHERWISE the service is so bad and wait time is unreal. My bf and I are frequent bbt drinkers and finished about 5 stamp cards with sharetea. Every time we go there it’s either a hit or miss service…depending on the cashier. There is one particular cashier that is so rude and ruins our experience every time we go there. She has the worst attitude and is always miserable. The last time I went there she quickly tried shutting us out and telling me the store was closed when it wasn’t…then asked me she can make certain drinks at this time. And was giving me attitude when I was placing my order. I was so puzzled that I didn’t even get tapioca. so I just basically drank juice. Both of the drink was so horribly made and not worh $12! Disappointing. I never write reviews about stores or restaurants but honestly this place needs better workers because customer service is what brings people back! If there was another sharetea location in the area I would NEVER return to this location again.
Bland sugary tea, ridiculous wait times. Dropped by this place this afternoon as its downstairs from where I live and there was only 1 person in line. Person in front of me ordered 2 drinks, I ordered 2 as well. We both waited for over 15 minutes for the 3 staff members working there to make our 4 drinks. What kind of tea shop is this? Its not as if the tea is freshly made as I saw them take it from the container! I couldve steeped some tea and made it myself and I would have been happier. All that wait time and the end result was a watered down sugary overpriced version of 168!!!?!? Nevermind that the parking and driving around in this plaza is a major pain in the arse…..Don’t waste your time.
