It is the best in Ontario. I don’t usually go out for Korean food, but here is different. I never had tasty pork bone soup and Bu dae chi ge in Ontario before, and it blew my mind. It really has an authentic Korean taste.
Best kimchi in town! With that in mind, rest of the food is good too, especially their signature boo dae chi gae where kimchi is one of the ingredient. Definitely worth the visit for table top cooking.
My rating is solely based on their pork bone soup – which was very flavourful and meaty compared to the ones I tried at other places. I’m not an expert, in fact I’ve only had this type of soup a few times, but I really liked this one. Service was quick and attentive. Make no mistake, this place is very casual, plain tables and chairs, nothing to look at. It’s fairly new and located where a restaurant called Sakura used to be. Certainly no dining destination, but if you live in the area, it’s worth a try.
