Located in North York, this Persian place has unparalleled quality food. Even though it may be a little out of the way, it’s worth the drive/walk there. Their joojeh and koobedeh plates are awesome. The sultani is worth it if you’re feeling up for the challenge. The servings can get pretty big.
Amazing food! Great variety and a full size bbq grill they cook on. They also have sumac and lemon juice to put on the food which I love!! Very tasty. The location is difficult for parking though, so if your driving scope out a spot first. The only thing I will criticize is the eating area. There was a sock on the floor and the tables and condiment containers could have been a little cleaner.
Very good kebob place in a neighbourhood crowded with other Persian options. I think it used to be better, though, before it changed ownership a couple of years ago. Still best to enjoy on premises as the meat tends to lose its juiciness quickly. They use proper charcoal which is a must for good flavour. Prices not especially cheap but competitive.
Very unprofessional. My parents were going to throw a dinner for my husband & I for 40 people. I was helping out by contacting the restaurant & making the order. I called the restaurant & when I asked about the pricing the lady working there told me I would have to contact the owner to find out about the price. His name is Danish I called & told him what I wanted he gave me a good price so I told him my parents are going to come in and finalize the order & put a deposit down. 3 days later I called him & said they were coming by he agreed on a day & time. They went there & he wasn’t even there he told them something came up & to just talk to his workers ( Professionally when something like that happens you should call & let the person know you cant make it for the scheduled appointment). It turned out that one of the workers lived in our neighborhood & knew my parents. They made the order with him along with another worker, he said that he would deliver it himself free of charge since he would be finished his shift around the time we wanted it delivered. He told my parents since it was a big order he will give them a good price & not charge them any tax. They agreed & were very happy with that. 2 weeks later a week from the scheduled dinner my parents went to the restaurant to add some more stuff to the order & Danish was there, he looked up there order & said there was no order at all under there name he was being very rude . He took the order down again & calculated the price which was almost double the prices the workers gave them & the price he gave me originally, he said he will charge tax & delivery as well then told them he has not to time to discuss this & he needed to go somewhere. When they mentioned that he told me the same thing he denied even talking to me at all ?????. When my parents contacted me I called him. He said he couldn’t remember speaking to me because he talks to a lot of people. He told me that his worker is crazy & isn’t working there anymore. I am shocked at this, my parents were so upset they cancelled the order & decided to go somewhere else. The owner was very unprofessional, everything about him from not showing up to meet my parents to the way he spoke to name calling his worker & taking bad about him & most importantly lying & denying things. This by far has been the worst experience I’ve ever had with restaurants. Because of this we were so behind trying to find another place to order from last minute. I’ve met many workers at restaurants that were unprofessional, sloppy, rude but when the owner of the restaurant himself is unprofessional & rude there is not hope there.
The quality is good but was much better a few years ago.
Amazing Persian cuisine!. This is the best fast food out there. There selection of Persian food is amazing. They have amazing kebabs and rice dishes. They are also very friendly and deliver a beautiful presentation with your meal. I always get the joojeh kebab with pollo. Ask for sumac on the side, very yummy and tasty !!!!! Everything is homemade wich is very nice.
