2017/04/12I continued my exploration of Yonge St at lunchtime, and found Tasty Hut. While there are many Korean restaurants in this neighbourhood, this one happens to be Chinese. The decor is very simple and very yellow; yellow walls, yellow table tops. The menu seemed to be very comprehensive, but I focused on the first couple of pages. They had at least a dozen lunch specials for $8.99, including tea or pop. I went for the simple Beef with Broccoli, which came with rice. Simple dish with simple flavours. The beef was properly cooked, and the broccoli was properly steamed. My one minor complaint is that it did seem to take longer for my food to arrive than I thought it should. This was reinforced by the table beside me getting one of their dishes before mine, even though they sat down after I had ordered.
