Ordered the chef bento box special. Too much sauce on salmon teriyaki. It was decent overall. The sushi and sashimi were fresh. Service was fast and courteous. Good place for lunch.
My local go to for sushi. It’s the closest to my work and they get the job done when I have a sushi craving. The lunch menu prices are your best bet for value for your money. I love the spicy salmon and avocado roll. Not big on sashimi so can’t vouch for that.
I also order take out from this restaurant and the delivery man is fantastic!!! He’s always so friendly and always asks how my day is! Great service!11 Apr, 2014The food at Ume Sushi is delicious!! I always order the Green Dragon roll and the Avocado roll and they never disappoint me. But what I like most about this restaurant is the staff are so friendly and welcoming.
I have been to this restaurant many times and I love the service!! I am always greeted by all of the staff when I walk in and my order is filled quickly. The food is delicious and it’s a good price! I will come back again!!
Been here three times. Once for lunch twice for dinner. Good quality sushi and rolls and reasonable price. Decent decor. Timely service. Overall, a nice restaurant where you get what tou expect.
Bleah!!!. Total disappointment. I ordered take out and regret that I did not check the covered tray before I took it home. I would have rejected it and walked out.Half of the spider roll had shrimp instead of the more expensive soft shell crab.The 2 unagi dragon rolls were mostly stuffed with cheap fake crab meat, which is not in the description of this item on their menu. Very little BBQ eel.The tuna on the tuna sushi was dull and turning brown. Lucky we did not get food poisoning. The fish on the yellow tail (hamachi) sushi was not yellow tail at all but some kind of white fish. Did not give us any wasabi or ginger.Total disappointment.
Excellent sushi, cozy environment, good service! On weekdays lunches they can become really busy. Once they even gifted us spicy salmon hand rolls on the house!
