TRAIN WRECK. Had dinner delivered for the family from Funky Thai last night. My wife and I are trained chefs from George Brown Culinary Institute. We eat out 2-3 times per week. All in all we are reasonably knowledgeable about food. While we did not have exceedingly high expectations given the online reviews, we figured it would at least be average Thai food. I’m not going to even both providing the details because everything sucked (even their ‘House Special’ fried rice). Under seasoned, over cooked, you name it. I called to let them know. The manger offered to redo it… I said I didn’t want anything. I simply wanted to give them an opportunity to improve. She actually came to my house to pick it up and said she would call back. She didn’t even bother to follow through. I’m sure she had other priorities. This place is a culinary train wreck.

Did not Disappoint!. Food was delicious and service outstanding! We can hardly wait to go back and try some other dishes. Chrispy beef was to die for. This place was highly recommended by a few friends and we had driven past many times. Our reluctance to stop mostly because the location was a little isolated on N. side of Dundas. We finally we decided to stop in and check the place out. The decor is nice and the restaurant comfortable, service is outstanding. This place also does a booming takeout business, which was a little distracting when dining in.
We liked the service and love the atmosphere. The food is great and they are not shy with the size of the portions. Been coming here for years and highly recommend this experience. Enjoy !
