Worst Service Ever Experienced. My friend and I went to Mika’s sushi, looking for a good lunch – the food itself was alright, but our meal was completely ruined by the hostile waitress serving us. She paid several visits throughout the course of our meal, nagging and rushing us. Finally, about the fifth time she asked us if we were done, and we replied with yes, she had the gall to tell us we would be charged for the almost empty rice bowls. Not only did she charge us for tiny bits of left over food, she accused my friend of coming in ‘too often and not EVER finishing her food’ – a complete lie. I was reluctant to give my money to this (overpriced) restaurant at the end of our meal, and it is safe to say I am never coming back. If you looking for a good dining experience, Mika’s Sushi is not the place to go.
Mika Sushi Amazing Value!. This is a gem of a place to find in Oakville. The all-you-can-eat lunch menu is varied and contains all our favourites sushi, tempura, teppan yaki and teriyaki. Fantastic value for money! This will definitely be our regular haunt for local Japanese food. Owners and waiters very friendly and accommodating too.Maria M.

Dcor is simple and sleek, the service is always great.The menu is modest, compared to other sushi places I’ve been to, but it never disappoints. This AYCE restaurant is very consistent. They don’t change their menu often, but when they do, it’s always delicious.I’ve been coming to this place a lot over the past few years and I never thought it would be difficult to review. This is the restaurant that started my sushi addiction. This is the restaurant I compare all other sushi to. I’ve been sitting on this review for a few weeks now…I mean, how do you review your benchmark?I’ve had almost everything on the menu and there wasn’t one item I didn’t enjoy. Price is good, service is good. Uhhhh. Go early or you WILL have to wait. I wish I had more for you, but I’m finding it hard to objectively critique this place since it is my favourite!Just go and love it.
We have been here many times for the all you can eat dinner. The sushi is fresh and delicious. We have never been disappointed.
Love the Bento Box C. Have not had the all you can eat. We always get the Bento Box C which has all of our favourites and is always good and for a really great price for so much food.
Downhill…. I use to bring my parents here all the time. Came back about around 9:00 for dinner on my last visit and it was terrible… The rice was either really old and stale. Left about half of our first order and asked for the bill. They didn’t even charge us so I think they knew.Also, make sure you check your bill at the end. They add a 10% ‘service charge’ (tip) to the bill. Who does that?
Friendly and good service, decent sushi. Went to Mika Sushi for AYCE lunch and the sushi was good. I found the salmon and tuna to be fresh, the rolls were skimpy on fish and had too much filler (too much rice, crunch tempura flakes, avocado, and cucumber. The shrimp tempura was good, but found some of the other food bland and overall just moderate. The menu didn’t have too many diverse or inspiring items. Rolls are limited and lack creativity and the sushi selection as well. Staff is very friendly.
