Horrible service. Management and ownership are down right rude. I ordered chicken wings, they came out cold and I asked the server for another plate. Shen then brought the owner and he refused to bring me a new plate. I’m sure the wings were microwaved. Stay away from this place.
Best Pub Food I’ve had in Years!. I’ll be the first to admit that I’m a very tough customer. My wife usually holds her breath when I take my first bit because the odds are about 1 in 6 that it will be sent back. The food at Palermo’s Public House is absolutely fantastic! It turns out they almost always have an owner cooking the food, which is rare. The wings are best best in the GTA (btw I am more the qualified to make that statement having been the President of TorontoWings.com years ago + I hold a culinary degree from George Brown). The fish & chips tip top using very high quality fish and Mrs. Vicky’s salt & vinegar chips in the batter. The homemade burger is not on the regular menu, but when you see it on the special board, just trust me and order it. The staff is friendly and highly efficient. It’s also family friendly with a kids menu that my son and daughter love. They also have Golden Tee, darts and a killer digital juke box. This place is a must try!
PALERMOS – TERRIBLE SERVICE. The management and ownership are second to none in terms of greed and are just plain rude. As with any customer, the goal is to access good food and friendly staff. THIS IS NOT THE CASE HERE! The two women who are the managers and run the place, are extremely prejudice and pick favorites, neglecting others and exercising their forceful authority over customers. I personally experienced this and would suggest that the turmoil you will experience from the blonde and black headed broads is simply not worth it. DO NOT EAT HERE! I WILL NEVER GO BACK! I WAS MORE AFRAID OF THE WAITRESSES VERBALLY ABUSING ME FOR ORDERING, THAN I WAS OF THE SUICIDE WINGS AND THAT SAYS ALOT!!!!
Went there for their ribs tonight as I would like to try something else other than wings (not like they aren’t good, but like to try something diff)anyway, ordered half rack,it was pretty decent and tasty but the portion is a bit small, will have full rack next time. btw, ordered pizza take out quite a few times, it is pretty good in general but just a bit to salty sometimes.I will come back and try other stuff for sure!20 Oct, 2012Craving for wings after a long day of work. Rip off. Went there for a birthday, got a few shots and they double charged for them because they didn’t’ have the right ‘button’ on the computer. 12$ for an average shot.Totally scammed us and not impressed. Banana liqueur is a premium shot?? Please, Palermo you should be ashamed.
We held off coming here for years as it doesn’t look too appealing from outside.Not much greater on the inside but it’s what you’d expect from your neighbourhood pub. The food was fantastic. Pizza was one of the best in Burlington and their wings are so big and tasty!Lots of drink specials as well. Overall I’d highly recommend it! But not a first date kind of place!
Friday night dinner, great experience. My three friends and I went to Palermo Pub tonight in the early evening. The weather was nice so we sat on the patio. The patio was spacious and provided a nice atmosphere with music in the background. There was a good selection of beers on tap as well as bottles.The menu is expansive and had something for everyone. We ordered wings, the fish and some pizza. The wings were big, fresh and a great value and the pizza was fantastic. My friend had the fish and chips and she was amazed at the portion size and how well it tasted. The restaurant seems to have a new take on a pub classic.We noticed signs for live music, a digital jukebox and weekly trivia. The special on Friday night was fish and chips and they have different drink and food specials every night of the week.The service was prompt and courteous and our server was friendly and accommodating. The clientele seemed to represent a broad spectrum: families, groups of adults,couples etc.
