Inconsistent. A little gem of an Italian restaurant in the perfect location that is frustratingly incapable of offering a consistent dining experience. Some days the food is good, the service is bad. Other days the food is bad, the service is good. Today the food was bad, the service was bad, and the owner simply did not care when I complained to him about the negative experience. He defended his inexperienced server and joked about 3 out of our 4 orders being wrong. We are regular customers, but will look for another local that puts more effort into the quality of the food, the quality of the service, and one that acts like it cares what its customers think about their dining experience.
Delicious! Had the Peppinos salad and a thin crust pizza, both were made with fresh ingredients. Out waitress was friendly. Cozy atmosphere. Will definitely return!
Good food, brutal service. We have been going to this place since it first opened and we’re one of the first people to eat here. It breaks my heart to see the staff at so bad when the owner is not there, as when he is, it’s a much different place. His son try hard, but just doesn’t have it. I have had my parents here, held a huge birthday party here last year with over 30 people..but last time we went, we will were lost and waited 60 minutes for our food as they forgot the order.. Hoping the owner reads this and takes back the reins…. Don’t forget those that made this a local establishment, it won’t last long If this continues
Terrible service. We used to like this place a lot because it is local and they make decent food however I’ve noticed the quality is slipping and so is the service! Friend and I met for lunch on the patio which had limited seating due to dirty tables so I took the cleanest one. We ordered our drinks and an appetizer while we decided on entree’s. The drinks came we placed our ordered and waited patiently. 45 minutes later we received our appetizer and asked if we could get our entree’s to go as we were on lunch and needed to get back to work. Waitress said okay.. didn’t hear from her again until 20 minutes later where she still did not have our salads wrapped to go.. that’s right over and hour for salads! She did manage to seat another table of ladies in front of us at a dirty table with dishes from previous unhappy customer ‘s… the ladies had dog with them and our waitress made sure the pooch had water before my friend and I received our packed up salads and bill. all together our lunch hour took 1 hour and 25 mins and that was the last straw for this place, I could understand if the restaurant was busy but there were 3 tables outside including us… local yes but also a waste of time, the food isn’t worth the wait!
Love this place. They could probably use an extra server every night to quicken the service, but the servers themselves are wonderful and the food has, almost without exception, been great every time we’ve been therewhich has been often. The Bianco and Chicken Pesto pizzas, in particular, are fantastic. Little wonder the place is becoming increasingly popular among locals.
Terrible service! Food is nothing worth the cost!We ordered the garlic cheesy bread as an appie and for $8.99 you get stale bread and melted shredded cheese on top sprinkled with garlic powder. For 5 pieces. No quality at all. My husband ordered the wings and again regular I’m taste. I should have just cooked at home and told him to pay me. Third order was supposed to be the bolognese pasta but for some odd reason the server wrote down penne arribiatta…WTF?! I thought it was odd that my dish came out with 2 meatballs. Decided not to complain about it after reading all the crappy reviews on the service and just hearing them apologize to a family about all that went wrong with their service that evening – I didn’t want to risk my dish having a surprise ingredient in it. I wanted to give this local join a try but sadly it’s not worth the cost of the food. We were better off going to Jackastors. The biggest problem I think is that it’s run by mostly young teenagers-it didn’t appear to have a proper experienced individual on site. The most disturbing part of my meal was noticing the staff huddle mostly likely talk about the family that complained about the things that went wrong during their service, which in turn left no staff really attending to the tables. We won’t be coming back here OR recommending this place ever.
Hey Franky !. Peppinos is owned by a father and son team. The food is very good, the ingredients are fresh. You are treated as family or friend so dont expect any formalities. It’s just a fun place, with good food, good people and great value for your money.
