My husband and I have eaten here in the past and it has been decent. However we visited this past Saturday and ordered two dinners….lasagna and spaghetti. Food was too salty to eat. I mean EXTREMELY salty!

FOOD:For our appetizer, we had settled on the Caesar Salad, while for my main dish, I had settled on the Panzerotti (with Sauce and Cheese), while my husband had settled on the 10-Inch Meatatarian Pizza. Our server had taken our drink orders (which was only Water), and came back with two plastic water glasses that were not even filled to the top.Once we had received our Caesar Salad, we didn’t receive any utensils in the salad or on the side to pick-up the salad with. I had to ask our server if we could have something for the salad. We noticed there were quite a number ofsalad pieces that were brown and wilting, which turned-us off. Although the dressing, croutons, and bacon bits were abundant (which is rare to find in Caesar Salads served in restaurants), the amount of salad that we had received for $7.99 was NOT worth it.Once my Panzerotti arrived, I was disappointed to notice that it was practically drenched in hot tomato sauce, which made the Panzerotti taste like a flat-piece of soggy bread. The only good part of the Panzerotti were the two corner-edges, which were untouched by the sauce. The server shouldalwaysask the customer if they would prefer the sauce on the top of the Panzerotti, or on the side. It tasted disgusting with all of the sauce, and I didn’t enjoy it one bit. My husband’s pizza was quite large for a 10-Inch, with an abundance of meat on it, such as bacon bits, sausage (although it was quite scarce), pepperoni, and ground beef. His pizza was actually quite good, and he was able to take leftovershomefor the next day. Overall, the food here was sub-par, and not worth the money that we had to dish-out for it (we didn’t even receive any bread as an appetizer, which happens at most Italian restaurants).ATMOSPHERE:The restaurant is a bit small, with it being divided into two sections; one beside the bar/cooking area, and the other near the outdoor patio. It seemed to be more of a sports bar, with the TVs playing sports events, and the various flags hanging around the bar. It wasn’t too comfortable as the chairs were wooden, and the table was not sturdy when we leaned our elbows on it. It felt more like an older East Side Mario’s, without the comfortable booths or unlimited salad and bread.SERVICE: Our server seemed nice however, it did take some time to get the items that we asked for at times. Our drinks took about five minutes, and there was hardly anybody in the restauranton aSaturday evening. She also didn’t askhow our main dishes tasted once we were finished, or didn’t check-in on us during our meal itself. It seemed as though she was only doing ‘the basics’ to keep us happy, and definitely not making us feel wanted. When we asked for the bill, it took about ten minutes for it to be brought to our table, and it still wasn’t busy. She did apologize for the wait however, the damage was already done. We also noticed thatthere were about four waitresses on the floor therefore, we were confused as to why we had to wait such a long time.COST: Caeser Salad:$7.99 + Panzerotti: $7.99 + 10-Inch Meatatarian Pizza: $13.99 = $33.87 (Taxes Included).WOULD YOU RETURN? No. The food was not up to my standards, especially when it came to old lettuce pieces and a soggy Panzerotti. It looked to us as though this meal was whipped up in less than two minutes, with no effort whatsoever. The service was also poor, and not worth our time. Will never return, and will not recommend to others.
