We have been going to Pho Mi 89 on Prince Michael in Oakville regularly; i.e., about 10 times a year, since it opened some 12 or so years ago. Went there tonight Aug 26/18 and got the worst service we have experienced in any restaurant that we can recall. We are well-to-do and closing in on 60. We ordered soups and a beer. The beer was handed off with a bottle opener in an indifferent way that came across as rude. We had to ask for a glass, and what came was a plastic cup. The soup itself was fine. We had to ask 5 times for a tea re-fill and then got only half a cup. We were totally polite and friendly and there was no reason we could think of for the unbelievably poor and rude service that totally ruined our dinner. There were all new faces and the several females behaved indifferent unresponsive and blank faced and the young male was simply rude. As we paid we told the woman at the cash that we were very disappointed with the service and why, and she simply stared through at us and said nothing. We had the distinct feeling we were not welcome ??? We are not going back.
