We went to try a new place tonight and it was a huge let down. The service was awful to the point where we ended up walking up to the front desk and waited for certain things (like water, utensils) after asking at least 3 times for them. The food was mediocre. The atmosphere was nice, and you do receive complementary fruit at the end and a couple small bowls of food at the beginning. Perhaps we caught them on an off night but based on the service alone, we won’t be going back. We were there from 6:30-8:30, not by choice.
Better than a lot of similar restaurants in the area but not nearly as good as my favourite Ichiban in Burlington. Sashimi was good but the portion sizes were a little small, service was friendly and efficient, the decor was very nice. I will try a few more Japanese restaurants in the area but wouldn’t hesitate to return here.
Another great meal. Like the title says another great meal. We had Sushi, Sashimi, Dynamite Rolls. All were really fresh.23 Jan, 2014Had dinner on a Wednesday night. Prompt friendly service. I had Sashimi Dinner. Fish was very fresh. Wasabi could be hotter for my tastes. My dinner partner had two brown rice rolls. She enjoyed both. We shared Edame. Also very fresh and perfectly steamed. Would defiantly return.

A fantastic neighbourhood sushi restaurant. The family who run the restaurant treat everybody to a warm and friendly Hello when you walk through the door and treat you like family while you’re in their restaurant. The sushi is fresh and tasty whether it’s take out or eat in. My favourite spot in town.
We had to wait for our food for more than 30 minutes. There was a line up of take out customers right by our table. The sushi was no better than most sushi restaurants I have been to. They had no wine that we ordered. Why is it on the wine list then? The service was bad and the bill was higher than the quality of food and service provided. I wouldn’t recommend this place.
