Was there late evening (10:30+) of September 8th for three ABC Amber and an order of onion rings with the chiplote dip. Place is tiny and cozy with good bar stools; it was lively with steady turnover. ‘Cat’ is an exceptional bartender, regulars get big hugs and a great smile. Some really comfortable stuffed wingback chairs along the wall if you’re lucky enough to snag one. One tv screen runs Sports, the other old classic b&w movies with dialogue subtitles. Great place to waste a couple of hours especially after a film at The Mayfair. Good OC Transpo bus Service in both directions.
Got a pint of the astonishing cream ale and their Monty burger. I wasn’t expecting much but the portion size was very filling and the quality of the burger patty was actually worth the 15 bucks. The place is super cozy but it allows for more a more ‘intimate’ experience. Definetly will be back!
Meh pub food. Burger was disappointing and fries were crazy salty (chunks of it affixed to each fry). Service was good just didn’t think much of my meal nor did my bf who had the fish and chips.
This is hands down my favourite nook in the city.It is small, yes, but the quality and punctuality of service is on the ball every single time. Their seasonal selections from Ashton Brewery are always great, and their medium sized menu is far from overwhelming to select what you want.I can’t believe the amount of service they do with only a couple chefs in a tiny kitchen, but they manage quite well. The consistency is spot on.Lastly, the staff are great people. Great to chat with, funny, friendly, and they all appear to be having a great time.I hope to be a regular patron for years to come.
Been here a couple times. Good for meeting one friend as place is tiny. It’s kinda like the show Friends with their fun couches inside. It’s a typical local bar.
Bar food that’s far better than the average, lots of great beers on tap, super cozy atmosphere, and friendly staff. Sometimes end up waiting a bit longer for food than I think is really appropriate, but overall Quinn’s is always a good time.
Great Food. We went to Quinn’s last night and shared a burger & the pulled pork tacos. OMG – everything was so delicious. We think that the burger may even be as good, if not better, than Chez Lucien’s burger – and that says a lot. We had a great waitress, whom we’ve had in the past. She is an absolute sweetie; not sure whom the reviewer was served by (review below), but we’ve always had great service the 3 times we’ve been there.
