Humble owners, great food. This restaurant opened in the 1980s, and was one of the first Thai restaurants in Ottawa. The people are unpretentious and the food is tasty.Recommended.
This is the worst Thai place ever. The food is terrible and the service is worse. Don’t go here.
Use to love this place. Then we had an issue of finding a rock like substance in a spring roll that nearly broke a tooth. I called the next day because when I called after eating it they were already closed. The woman on the phone told me to call back because the manager/ owner wasn’t it. I called back the day after that and he asked me to come in before opening so we could discuss it. I went in very open to negotiating. I figured he would be willing to provide a full refund and a gift certificate, instead he cuts me off in mid conversation and offers only a $25 gift certificate, $20 less than the cost of my original order. I was willing to take a gift certificate and refund because I felt we had been going there for years and they have very good thai food. After explaining given the circumstances my request was not out of line he only offers me a full refund nothing else. Not only do I find this offensive given the amount of service my family and I have given him but I could have seriously chipped a tooth.
Food is delicious. Large portions and friendly service. Will go again.
Great Thai. The food is awesome and the portions are great. You can find similar pricing at other restaurants but for almost half the amount you would get for dinner portions at Siam Kitchen. There have been poor reviews on the service but I just wanted to point out that one of the main servers did grow up with a learning disability and also has a hearing disability.
Good Thai food. This is a great Thai restaurant. I’d say it’s probably my second favorite Thai restaurant. Would recommend. Lots of flavor and the dinning area has a good atmosphere. Great for dine in or take out.
