Slightly above average Chinese food. There aren’t many places to choose from in Orangeville but you shouldn’t be disappointed with food from here. Their hot and sour soup is pretty good. I like their Guest Wok specialty dishes especially their noodles and chicken. The service is quite good and if they are a bit slow sometimes it’s because they get super busy which is a good sign! Quantity is quite good as well. No, it’s not Toronto Chinatown food but I believe you can order confidently from this restaurant. Good value. Good food. Good service.

Horrible Food…. I ordered $40 worth of food today for pick-up – ALL of which as absolutely HORRIBLE, dry, bad tasting. the SS spare ribs were mostly batter & fat, hardly any meat at all on the ribs;, the General Chicken didn’t taste anything like the general chicken i’ve had in other restaurant. when i called to complain, they offered me NOTHING in return for this expensive and inedible slop.i will never eat here again…
Bland and Inedible. I’ve very rarely had good take out food in Canada, but I think I hit the bottom of the barrel with this one. I’ve NEVER eaten take away food that was so bland and utterly tastless in all my life. It was just horrible, one of the dishes I bought, the Cantonese Sweet and Sour Pork actually made me want to throw up. I wish that I could even say that the price was reasonable but it wasn’t.. over priced and just ghastly.. If this is the only Chinese take-out in Orangeville.. save your money and go to MacDonalds.
Terrible quality food and worse customer service. When I moved to Orangeville 15 years we really enjoyed the Guest Wok, but now I have just told the Manager that he has lost a customer.We ordered 5 dishesChicken fried rice – Dry and overcookedLemon Chicken – Over cookedCantonese Chow Mein – the noodles were clumped together in a heap and we could separate them.Chicken balls – they are chicken balls so expectation is not high and never raised any issue with the manager but alot of batter.Beef and Broccoli – was ok but not great.I called to voice my concern and the manager came to the phone and he basically said there was nothing wrong with the food because he has three different people cooking the dishes that I was not satisfied with. I told him that he did not see the food on my table and he said that it was ok if I didn’t like his food.At that point I told him that was fine and that he had lost a customer.This business does not deserve to serve food in this community and I will not ever order from there again.Food Quality – TerribleCustomer service – Even worseYou can decide for yourself or take my recommendation.
Horrible….. Well it’s Canadian Chinese, that’s fine, but it was tasteless, way over cooked, chicken was overcooked.It’s fried crap covered in canned sauce. Yeah Chinese take-out generally isn’t that great – but this place is inedible.
