We went for dinner at Thai For You for the first time and I ordered the chicken pad thai, thinking that would be a safe option. It was terrible. I couldn’t eat it after a mouthful. My husband put a small portion on his plate and couldn’t eat more than a mouthful either. There was a strange and unpleasant taste that we just couldn’t place. When we told the waitress, she asked if we wanted the plate removed and we said yes. She apologized and said that that dish is a bit on the sweet side which is not everyone’s taste. We are big fans of Thai food and have had many wonderful meals, Pad Thai included, so we know what it should taste like. This was just bad. My husband’s cashew shrimp was okay, not that great, so I did not order anything else. When we received the bill we were shocked to see that we were charged for the meal, 90% of which was on the plate when she removed it, and 5% on my husband’s plate, uneaten. What a big disappointment. And what terrible customer relations.

I do wish their prices were a bit lower but when you’re the only Thai in town you can pretty much call the shots. Their Pad Thai is really good as is their Crab Rangoon. If you’re dining in and like ginger I highly recommend ordering their ginger tea! Bon appetite!
YUM!!!! We had the chicken peanut red curry, peanut sticky rice, crab Rangoon,and sweet and sour beef. I can’t stop thinking about it. So so good! Eat here!!!
Definitely a gem of a place!. One of the best places to eat some nice exotic food…exotic over typical Canadian food that is!
Good meal. Spring rolls were delicious. We ordered them with peanut sauce. I ordered the spicy noodles with chicken and it was perfectly spicy if you like it hot! My boyfriend ordered the lamb pad phed with rice and enjoyed it. Some of the meat was a little tough/grisoly..Not the best Thai we’ve ever had but still good for the price
Consistently Excellent. I keep going back to Thai For You because they provide the three things a restaurant should strive for: Great service, excellent food and consistency.
