Restaurant Has Gone Downhill. It is very unfortunate that Clancy’s has gone downhill in the last bit.The manager has clearly tried to make this place something better than it is. I know he brought in a new chef and crated some great dishes. They had also been holding fundraising events which were fantastic and family friendly.However, from what I gather – the owner is not interested in making this place something for the public to enjoy. All he cares about is having a place to drink and scream at horses on TV (buddy – they can’t hear you). They do a lot of off track horse betting, and the races are always ALL OVER the TV’s. This is not a welcoming atmosphere.It’s very unfortunate because Clancy’s has the potential, just an ignorant owner.
Horrible Experience!. Clancy’s Pub is dark and dull. The food isn’t great, the staff is rude and it’s pretty much the most boring pub I’ve ever been in. It’s just dark and blah. I also encountered one of the rudest servers I’ve ever had and that’s saying a lot. She acted like we had just keyed her car – she was in a MOOD. Also, how does it take 15 minutes to get our drinks when there are only 2 other couples in there?Oh and don’t order the fish, it’s soggy and nasty, I don’t think they cooked it long enough. Oh well, if I get food poisoning at least I won’t have to go to work, haha!Do yourself a favor and go somewhere decent….not this depressing hole.
