Have been here on several occasions for lunch. Never disappointed.They have a reasonably good variety to choose from.We have never felt rushed here (a definite plus!).People are attentive in clearing off your table of the used dishes, & keeping water topped up.They could improve by making certain the dishes remain topped up. I have seen them lay empty on several occasions for quite a while.
I had been told that Eclipse was an enjoyable buffet,and should try it out. I was sadly disappointed with my experience. Firstly, the layout could use some help. Half of the salad bar on one side of the bar, and the other half on the other side. The desserts section is on the opposite wall of the alcohol, but if you want ice cream, you have to go to the back corner of the restaurant by the doors to the restroom. Food wise, the cold shrimp were mostly waterlogged/soggy, several of the breaded/fried foods were quite greasy, and a server brought out one the lobster selection, and once that was gone, she changed the sign and started with a different item. Another customer had accidentally dropped a plate that shattered everywhere. After about 10 minutes of trying to wave someone over, all they did was put up make shift wall/barricade with some chairs, and told customers to go around the other way. Did not bother to pick up any of the mess, let alone bother sweeping it up. A few times I noticed a server sitting in the back corner playing on their cell phone while several tables had piles of dishes to be picked up. I really enjoyed the restaurant that used to be there (Red Maple Chinese Buffet), and was looking forward to trying this one. Sadly, I won’t be returning here anytime soon.
