What do you expect from a sushi joint that’s run by neither Japanese nor Korean chefs ? Crab is pollock for sure. The rice is definitely not smooth textured like it should be. Waitress can hardly understand me. Say no more.

Very solid Japanese restaurant. I disagree with what the poster wrote about the fake crab. I thought the comment was so misplaced I showed it to everyone at my table and we all laughed. My cousin Wil has worked in Japanese restaurants and I’ve been eating sushi for over 20 years including a two week binge on sushi in Tokyo. It is uncommon to see real crab on a menu and when you do, expect to pay at least double the regular price. we ordered a sushi combo, bento box, tempura, spiderand green dragon rolls. The sushi combo was fine but everything else was very very good.

Get one of the bento boxes – they were delicious! The beef and eel were melt in your mouth, spring rolls flavorful, a lot of food for a good price. We didn’t know how big they were so we ordered some spicy salmon rolls on the side. They weren’t as good as the California roll that came with the bento. Our toddler had sushi: egg, avocado and seaweed salad – all for 4$. Dining room was new decor, flooring and everything was very clean! The bathrooms are older.

The sushi was good but we found the maki was to large to enjoy. Price was good and restaurant was quiet.

Had Sushi / California Maki combo consisting of shrimp, salmon & artificial crab sushi & the maki. Not great. I hate being lied to about crab. Be honest. The maki is too large for a mouthful. The seafood did not seem as fresh as it could be overall. The combo came with a salad (minimal effort, 1 large chunk of cucumber, 1 half slice of tomato and rough cut iceberg lettuce. The dressing tasted like thousand islands. Not citrus ginger. It’s hard to screw up miso soup so they didn’t. The Google map pin has them incorrectly located but I would take a pass so no need to go looking for Aji. There are four 5 Star reviews on yelp because while yelp has instituted measures to limit fraud, they don’t address positive review seeding.

Fantastic Sushi. Small quaint restaurant, nothing fancy , very plain , BUT the food is phenomenal !!!!! If you like sushi or just want to try sushi , this is the place to eat it . You will see when you are there that they are busy ,not just in the restaurant but also for their take out, this is always a good sign when choosing a restaurant. Dont be put off by the small, plain dining area, the food is fantastic, the people who own it and serve you are wonderful and friendly . I have been there 3 times and plan on going again tonight, see you there 🙂
