We went there with a table of six. I had been there before and had positive experiences. It appears to have gone down hill however. Our entire table had been there since 615 and ordered promptly. We received our meals after literally everyone in the restaurant had received theirs. Now we had shown up far before the restaurant became busy. We told the manager of our issues. Some being from food some from the timing. The steaks were mediocre and the sides were terrible. It was overall expensive and unimpressive. The manager knew of our issues and didn’t do anything to help. It was a pretty disappointing experience.
A small fine dining restaurant gem. If you are in Orillia Ontario you must stop here for dinner. The chef clearly loves what he does and the restaurant prides itself on using locally grown ingredients. We had a number of appetizers including a complimentary chip bucket with an amazing dipping sauce. The farmers board and Brie were also favourites at our table. The lamb risotto was mouthwatering and delicious. I just love this restaurant it is one of my favourites in Ontario. dreamtravelmagazine.com
Wow! Where to start! I guess the atmosphere. We sat in the lounge (live guitar) perfect 10/10Appetizer: homemade beer battered onion rings and homemade kettle chipsEntree. I had the ribeye with the era poutine. Roy had lobster tail and short ribs. The sides were delightful!Dessert: Roy ordered the butter tart!!!The service was outstanding. Thank you for an experience that will definitely bring us back!
Romantic and amazing valentines day dinner menu. My husband and I have been returning customers for the past five years. This was our 4 th valentines dinner at era and it was spectacular. The service was perfect. The specialty menu was perfect we enjoyed the Farmers platter to share as our appetizer . I would jave shared the picture but it was almost gone by the time we decided to take one lol. It was just to delicious It honestly was the best platter we’ve ever had from any restaurant !! I love this place most of all because of their fresh ingredients and supporting our local communities for thier menu items and food. Its perfect for small groups and intimate settings and very accomodating when ask to put in a more intimate surrounding . Like on birthdays or anniversaries. Well be returning again very soon. Thank you very much for making our evening a special one Era 67.
Absolutely outstanding. Been there many times. Its where my son just proposed to his future wife! The menu is creative beyond compare; none of the usual fare here. Crab poutine, yup; bison ribs, oh yeah – on one visit anyway. The menu changes often. Their espresso is among the best I’ve had. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing. The staff are REAL, affable, they really know the menu and creative wine list. Classy but casual, exquisite food and not one tiny bit of pretense anywhere in sight!
The food was outstanding. I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant and our server, Matty, was terrific. We will absolutely be back
