I love Koi Sushi all you can eat. My family of four went and we were all satisfied. My elderly mother does not like sushi so we ordered her some teriyaki from Koi’s a la carte menu and she loved it. Especially since she can’t chew much anymore. The staff tends to your every needs and are more than friendly. Yes sometimes their English isn’t great but which Asian restaurant actually does. One can usually tell by facial expressions. Overall I loved the experience. We ordered brown rice tea which is free with the all you can eat and that was even more amazing than the green tea which on the drink menu they charge 3 dollars for. Great bang for the buck. We recommend trying the enoki beef rolls, tempura shrimp, dragon rolls.. Everything was good but these are our absolute favourite. And the icing on the cake is that this restaurant is spotless and clean. !!! Everytime I go out to a place I always check their cleanliness because then I know how sanitary the food is that I am eating. The owners were a very nice youngcouple that excel at their customer service:)highly recommended!30 Nov, 2013Awesome food. Great value. Friendly service. Feels like home away from home. Sushi lover or not.
Not Worth It. I’ve been here twice and the sushi is totally awful! It dry and not at all fresh. I mean like so dry! I know it’s hard to get fresh fish in Orillia, but I dont want to pay $20 for dry salmon. Plus $3 for tea on-top of all you can eat is step. My bill was $30 (and that was lunch!) so not worth! I would rather pay $30 and get a bunch of rolls from the other sushi place in town! Also I think loblaws makes better sushi!
Wow!My family and I just got their menu in the mail and decided to it a whirl this weekend! So glad that we came and found this gem in Orillia!Never going abywhere else again, absolutley loved it.From their appeztizers to tempura to teriyaki ,rolls and sushi. There wasnt a single thing tgat we didnt like. My 4 year old is a little picky when it comes to foodbyt.she tried their butterfly cheese ,which are like little cheese wontons and she.absolutly devoured.everything! Including their vegetable rolls which she doesnt.usually like veggies but did when Koi made it.This is the real deal. BEST chinese, japanese, and thai restaurant in toronto.Pretty sure they will be getting an award in the very bear future! nice atmoshpere, nice people, great great A+ food! loveeeeee
Psw. Have been many times and every time different food hit and miss ,depends on the day I guess, sometimes great food and service .a bit lacking some severs cant explain what your ordering or what ingredients are in it. and omg 3 bucks for a tea man what is that and you try to sell drinks well lower the price even at Chinese place beers under 5 bucks. what happened to the tick sheets you had I think that was the best way to order no confusion that way seemed to work better. need to change a few things great idea but you need some work, also last time there you had the back blocked off and washrooms to wash the floors wow not cool.
Not going back. The sushi and especially the maki were ok, but I didn’t see very much skill in their assembly. Maki were not pretty and not cut evenly. Tea did not come with the all you can eat meal. It was $3 a tea, which is pretty rediculous. All in all, way too expensive for the quality of food. $70 for two people. I could have spent that at a really nice sushi place in Toronto and had a much more enjoyable experience. Won’t be going back. Save your wallets for nicer establishments that actually have real red tuna and don’t skimp on the wasabi!
Not happy. Food was not good, 30$ bottle of wine, not good either. went to washroom, that is for male and female seat was up, pee on the floor. yuk!!! bill was 170$ 5 of us, won’t go back!
Beautiful food. Great friendly service. I always want to eat here, I can’t wait to go back!
