I ordered takeout – Greek and ceasar chicken salads. The dressings are homemade and taste amazing. It was all fresh and a good portion size. I bought a tub of the ceasar dressing as its got some basil in it (yes its green!) to make it more interesting than typical ceasar. Definitely will be back!
Awsome. This place is second to none in all areas
Awesome dinner tonight at what I think is Orillia’ s best restaurant. Great tasting food, well portioned offerings and the servers were awesome. No more thinking of where to go for dinner anymore. Prices are fair for a great meal.
We Loved this place! You need to eat here!. This place was great. All food is made fresh and everything that came to our table was great! We do think they need more local beers on tap though.Eet Smakelijk!
Not Gluten Friendly, Celiac Stay Away. Went for big family dinner, had family members talk about Theo’s for years. First and last visit not very Gluten friendly. My meal was Gluten free pasta with oil and something , to say in short it was garbage. If you don’t want Celiac at your eatery then just say so, stop the dance. Had Cesar salad well it had a couple of croutons in it, not a good start. My meal was bad, and the sad thing of it is I had to pay for it. A couple of small changes to there menu and they could be awesome. So Celiac BEWARE Stay away.
An excellent first visit, and looking forward to returning. Knew we would be in Orillia, and did a search of restaurants in the area. Since we were aware that it was going to be late, we had to choose restaurants that were open late and this fit the bill. The minute we walked in we were glad that we had chosen this place, despite having some coupons for other local restaurants. They have a classy but casual look with some contemporary undertones. I actually felt a little under-dressed in jeans and a t-shirt with a baseball cap on, but they didn’t seem to mind. The first question we asked since there was only one other couple in the restaurant, was to make sure the kitchen was open, and they also did not appear upset about that either. We really enjoyed this place, and will definitely go back. There was a huge selection of lunches any one of which we would have ordered. Since it was late, we went with a chicken Parmesan split, with a Caesar salad as a side with the recommendation of the server. We went light, due to how late it was and not wanting something heavy like pasta. I did get a side order of extra fries, and it was huge and they were perfect. Crunchy but not overcooked, and consistently done. The sandwich was great, bun toasted well, and not over done with sauce so you could taste the chicken. Also, the side order of Caesar Salad was plentiful, and took up more than half of the plate. I can definitely see why this place gets the good reviews, and given the location and multiple medical facilities nearby they probably do very well at lunch. Service was good, and even when a server who walked by and wasn’t ours notice my pop was empty, she took the imitative and noticed asking if I wanted a refill. Even after were done eating, and ready to pay the bill our server offered me another drink. I normally like to visit the washroom, as this can often be an indicator of the kitchen, but given the rest of the experience do not think it would have been an issue. I highly recommend this place if you are in town, and worth the 20 minute drive from where we were staying.
The appetizer was not edible and the main course was so salty it should have come with a health warning. The server was rude and dismissive and rolled her eyes when trying to speak to her. We left. Never again!
