We have been going to British Style Fish and Chips for years now. They are THE best in Oshawa! Don’t be fooled by the Halibut House being almost beside it. The service is good, the people are friendly and the fish and chips are sooooo good! They even make a kick ass homemade coleslaw that always sells out so get it early!
By far the best value and best Fish N Chips in Durham Region, myself and wife arte both from UK and can never find good fish and chips , till finding this place 6 years ago, wow wow wow!!! It tastes just like back home i like served in the paper to make it feel more authentic!! Honestly where can u get to die for fish n chips for like $7 British Style thats where!!!

Best fish & chips for sure!!. BRITISH STYLE FISH & CHIPS cut their halibut right in front of you per order ensuring both a large portion and freshest taste!! They have a full time potato peeler/cutter for their fresh cut fries! Homemade garter sauce and salad dressings are the best I have ever tasted. His grilled fish is delicious! The owners Ali and Josie are very warm and welcoming as is his breakfast cook! Best food and value around……wouldn’t go near that place in front of him if they offered it to me for free!!
One of the Best. We go back over & over to this friendly little restaurant. Not fancy, but bright and clean. And wonderful fish & chips! We’ve tried their other excellent seafood offerings, but the halibut is my favourite.
Completely Disappointed. Waited over an hour for delivery. When we called to follow up they had no information on the estimated time of delivery, or if the order had even been processed. After waiting an hour for the delivery we called to cancel the order only to be told that the delivery guy left 10 minutes ago to deliver the order. Also they did not have gravy, did not alert us to the fact that they were not sending the gravy until the delivery guy showed up at the door. Also we paid for 2 coleslaw, but they only sent one. When we called to complain again, they did not pick up.Completely disappointed!!
