Been coming here for a few months now. The owners and staff are top notch and always very friendly. I usually order my food when I finish after work and its always ready when I come to pick it up. I only order the Cantonese Chow Mein with no celery and soft noodles. It is always fresh tasting and has lots of sauce on it. I will try something different soon but they have the best Cantonese Chow Mein in Oshawa.
Tried this place tonight after reading some reviews, it was overall pretty good. Got the Cantonese chow mein, general tso chicken, and sweet and sour pork. All we’re pretty tasty, delivery was quick, and food was very hot when it got here. Will go again.
I wouldn’t go back. Food isn’t great. I ordered a 9 dollar noodle dish and the portion size was small, it tasted bland and it barely had any veggies in it. It’s probably some of the worse Chinese food I’ve had.Also, their lunch combos are all half filled with rice. For example, if you ask for Low Mein noodle lunch special, it comes half noodles and half rice. Very cheap.This place is obviously trying to save money by sacrificing the quality of their food. If you’re looking for decent Chinese food, I would highly suggest that you to go to New Globe on Athol Street instead.
Great food. First time ordering at Family Wok. Everything was sooo tastey. Have never been a fan of chicken balls because I find there is too much batter, not enough chicken. Decided to try some from my husband’s order and was impressed. I will be getting my own next time. Thankyou Family Wok.Keep up the good work.
