Great Fried Food. Great Fish and Chips place – Love the haddock, but surprisingly pay a bit less for Basa and enjoyed that much more! They are not stingy with their servings.Love their Cajun Poutine – Forget about fish and chips, just get fish and poutine!
I read great reviews and thought I would check it out. More over priced than your regular fish and chip joint which I don’t mind if its good. However it was not. Fryer must be run at the wrong temperature. Batter is nice and crisp but fish is dry and the edges are like eating leather. Coleslaw is gross. Must be Kraft dressing. Wish they made their own tartar sauce. Don’t even want to know what the fish sandwich is like with the Kraft plastic cheese. I would not go back. Disappointed we spent all that money there.
Great!. Exceptionally polite staff, DELICIOUS cajun Poutine and we even got a piece of haddock as well as it was on sale. Definitely got value for my money. Was a pleasure being treated so politely as well! Highly recommend this place.A hidden gem of Oshawa just like Cyrus.
Had my first hot Cajun poutine with crumbs in over a year! How I survived without? Beats me!
Not just for Fish. I’m not even gonna comment on the ‘fish and chips’ I am hear to comment on the POUTINE! It is amazing and a must try for all poutine lovers. I don’t recommend a Large unless you can really chow down…it’s about 1/2lb of pure fries/cheese and gravy.
The Best. Best take out fish and chips in Oshawa. My wife and I were born and raised in Scarborough. Which, as everyone knows, is home to Duckworths, the best Fish and Chips outside of England. At PB’s we’ve found something just as good.
