This place is pretty damn good. Yeah it’s a little pricey for pool, but the corner pocket is just down the street if that’s more your style and price. The food here has always been good and lounge atmosphere is very inviting.
False advertising. They say 1/2 price apps after 6pm on Tuesday and .45 cent wings after 3pm but tonight, because there is a concert, they conveniently changed the time to after 8pm, for both specials. Feh!
SCAM!!. I’ve been here once before and this place is a total rip off out of all bars to go too in Oshawa, WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!! Playing pool here is the biggest cash grab i’ve ever seen in my life, $13 per hour to play pool, big rip off compared to under $3 for 2 games which take you around an hour to play if your taking your time. They also want a credit card as collateral which I found crazy, this is not the Hilton Hotel. Drink prices are ok but I would but better bars around that have the same atmosphere and a whole lot cheaper then this rip off of a joint!!!!
Sum of all its parts…. There’s very few roadhouse-style pubs that I would waste time reviewing.Riley’s, thankfully, isn’t one of them.Riley’s menu, while extensive, is good pub grub. It’s obviously back-of-house really cares what goes through the pass. A word of caution, however. Come hungry. The portions are substantial. Front of house, the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Good food. Great service. Exceptional value. Riley’s is truly the sum of all its parts.
Not your average pub!!. With almost 20 different beers on tap and menu to big to read completely this downtown oshawa gem deserves a visit. Great entrees and a large selection of appetizers served in huge portions leave you satisfied. Try the Chicago pork my favourite.
