So it is the first time trying this restaurant, I’m definitely coming back again. A, because I love Indian food and spices. B, because it was a good experience. The restaurant is small but clean and nice. The food was very good, the only one thing I didn’t like is that they should’ve cleaned the shrimps and take off the tails, it’s not something I’m expecting to find. The prices were okay and average. And finally the stuff were nice and friendly. Worth trying it.
Best indian food!!! Lots to choose from on the menu and everything we had was absolutely delicious The atmosphere is cozy and warm but its not a big place so if u are going friday or saturday book ahead The staff are soo lovely- i will be a regular here.
Probably the BEST Indian food we’ve tasted. Flavours are absolutely on point, portions are good, and price is good. Staff were knowledgable and friendly. It’s a must go for all Indian food cravings! PS. The mango chicken is crazy good!
This place is great when you crave for Indian food especially when you living in Oshawa. Now you don’t need to travel all the way to Scarborough to have some Indian food. This neighbourhood friendly restaurant started a few years ago and has become so popular among the people in oshawa. A little pricy but hey who wouldn’t pay a little extra to get the right taste and quality? Must try their lunch menu as you get enough to fill your hungry tummy. Location: 3/5 (You might struggle with parking if you are wanting to drop by for lunch)Food: 4/5Ambience: 4/5Service: 4/5 This place is a hit among the Indian students here.
One of my favourite restaurants in Oshawa. Great menu, tons of options for both meat eaters and vegetarians. I try something new each time I go and I’ve never been disappointed. Best part is that it’s family owned and the staff are incredibly nice and friendly.
Delicious Indian Food. If you are craving for authentic Indian food with every spoonful of flavours, this is the right place! They have a large menu which is not very typical, and they offer each dish in different levels of spice (mild, medium, hot). Everyone in my family enjoyed and were more than satisfied with our last dinner at the Spicy Affair in Oshawa. Whereas, it’s usually difficult to find a place that everyone in the family would enjoy. The staff was friendly, and the place was clean and well lighted. More importantly, the food was freshly cooked and even the left overs were good the next day, especially the naan which was very soft! I could drive an hour to dine at the Spicy affair all over again!
Someone that I worked with suggested The Spicy Affair in Oshawa when I mentione that I was craving Indian food. So my mom and I went that night. And honestly my mom and I are really really picky when it comes to restaurants an this place was amazing! The food was soooo good, and the servers taught us a little bit about Indian culture and answered all our questions (she was even polite enough to stop us for over ordering too much Naan bread 😛 ) They were so friendly and well dresses in clean uniforms. And the restaurant was so clean! We will definitely be going back, no doubt in my mind. For the two of us, including a specialty lassie drink and a glass of wine with appitizer and two main, rice, and four pieces of Naan our bill was under $55.00 with tax! We will definitely be going back!
