I love this place! Great smoked meat and corned beef. Very efficient and kind staff. This place is popular for a reason, you really can’t find a better deli in all of Oshawa.

I visited during the very busy lunch hour in a friday; we were fortunate to get a table before the line filled in, but did notice that the turnover was fast. The service was a bit impersonal, but they were very busy so I can absolutely understand. Our server was very quick and direct, which is a positive. The food was AMAZING! I got the pastrami sandwich on a kaiser bun. The bun wasn’t as good as I was hoping, more like a doughy hamburger bun, but the pastrami was warm and SCRUMPTIOUS! ! And it was STACKED on there! SO GOOOOOD!!!! 🙂 No toppings, but and it def didn’t need any. Would gladly go back again and again for the same thing! Also, I was there with someone who used to work there way back when it opened, and he recognized that one of the owners was in the kitchen working. Gotta say, it is very admirable that after all these years the owners are still so involved! No wonder the food was so good :)Definitely recommended 🙂

Last night my family and I went to Teddy’s, nice family restaurant. We have been going for approximately 20 years. Great food, great price. Last night we were celebrating my grandson’s birthday so we went to Teddy’s. Our experience left a very bad taste in my mouth. The hostess was not in a good mood, the server was very impatient and didn’t hide that fact, our food came and she put her coat on and left. No once came to see if the food was okay, we stopped a server walking by because the ketchup was empty, there was a hair in my food. We had to ask for the bill, when I went to the cash to pay, I told the cashier about our experience and requested that my message be relayed. I have no idea if the management will hear about our experience, as there is no way to make comments on their site, I am speaking out here. We had a terrible experience and my grandson didn’t feel like we had made a good choice in bringing him there. We will not be returning.

This place is a local institution, and justifiably so. It’s a smallish, family style restaurant near the downtown area and on the corner of a strip mall. Ample parking is available adjacent to the restaurant. You will almost always have a 10-15 minute wait for a table but don’t sweat it – it’s worth it. You’ll be transported back to when you were a kid and mom and dad took you to the local joint.Service is always good and the portions are generous. I’ve been here dozens of times over the years (most recently on Saturday for dinner), and never had a bad meal. I am particularly partial to the mushroom burgers.Dessert is also an event – the strawberry pie is killer.Wrap it up with a reasonable price tag ($75 tip in for 4), and you’ve got a winner. One note – no alcohol is served here, so just be aware of that fact. The rest of the experience is so good you won’t miss it anyway.

What a great place to eat! Servers are friendly and well mannered, the food was good, definitely lots of options for even the picky eaters. Orders came through pretty quickly. I definitely would recommend!!

Had a great experience here. The chicken parm was delicious! Perfectly crispy and wonderfully seasoned. The hot roast beef sandwich was also very good, although the Warehouse Special was just alright too much meat. Finished off our meal with a slice of Coconut Cream Pie SO GOOD ;3 If I could finish every meal with it, I would! Super light and fluffy, not too sweet at all, with the lovely taste and fragrance of fresh coconut. Mmm mmm good! 5/5 for the pie, plus our waitress was just as sweet. If you find yourself in Oshawa, definitely drop by Teddy’s.
