I have been here many times and tried quite a few dishes. This place is consistent if nothing else. The portions are on the small side, and all the food is generally decent. I haven’t eaten anything I’ve not liked, but at the same time, I have found other Thai places in the city which have better versions of everything I’ve tried in bigger portions. Not a bad place, but there are certainly better.
I Was It Served For 1.5 Hours So I Walked Out. I was starving and the waitress didn’t even have the guts to tell us she forgot about us or didn’t even care as we watched her bring food to 4 tables of 6 + people who arrived after us!
Great Food, Great Service. Have eaten at the mobile thai wagon many times. Great authentic thai food, served quickly! My favourites are the spring rolls, pad thai (they even sell bottled pad thai sauce!) and green curry. Highly recommend the Green Papaya
Very small portion for the price. Flavour was good- but the chicken had a bad taste: wouldn’t go back.
Big Price, little portions. We just visited the Green Papaya on Queen street in Ottawa this weekend. While the food was tasty (although certainly not the best Thai food I ever had), what struck me the most was the outrageous prices and small portions. In Toronto, a similar dinner would cost around $40 while our Ottawa dinner was close to $70. We felt quite ripped off, not to mention that we were hungry a couple of hours later.
Good food. The spiciness rating in the menu wasn’t what we got, a spicy dish came out mild and a mild dish came out spicy.
Was at the Preston location tonight. Fantastic! Every dish was full of flavour and delicious. Love that crispy beef! Portions were fine.
