The building and interior itself is somewhat dated and needs a face-lift. The staff are courteous and pleasant. The menu is well organized, and food reasonably priced, well prepared and tasty.
Steak n eggs is a killer. Got to have, tender the best medium rear. Dame that was good. Wanted more. Friendly staff great service. Open 24/7. Great atmosphere. Now my best place for steak n eggs. Highly recommend. Oh coffee was excellent.Sorry I didnt take picture of the steak, enjoying to much. Will take picture next time like tomorrow morning.
We have been to perkins often, not so much for the food quality but more because we were hungry past the hours of other restaurants. The breakfasts are good if you order bacon but stay away from the strange sausage they serve. Pancakes are good. Dinners are more hit or miss. But service is good and restaurant is clean. And if you dont feel like driving downtown to the elgin street diner which is also 24 hours but better food- then perkins is passable to hit the spot late at night. Milkshakes are good as well
