The food was really good. I had their rice noodle special with satay beef, pork and shrimp. Very flavourful, quite tasty. The deep fried calamari was properly cooked but the dipping sauce did not go well. Too sweet. Look forward to trying them again. The menu here is outdated and the prices are incorrect.

Discovered this place when I was heading home from the Montfort Hospital. Every time I’ve been it’s been absolutely jammed with people and yet the service is still very fast and the Pho is delicious. The price is also a few $ cheaper than equivalent in Chiantown. Any time I have to be at the Montfort now, I leave some extra time to grab a quick lunch.

Good Pho. I’ve been to this place a few times when I get a craving for Vietnamese food and don’t want to go all the way down to Booth street. I usually get the S6 (chicken salad rolls with peanut sauce) and P1 (house special Pho Dac Biet – came with beef, chicken and small egg) – all good.

I want to start off by saying that the woman working the front was very pleasant…! The interior is quaint as it is cute. Nice atmosphere and very relaxing. No kitchen yelling, etc. I ordered the pork spring rolls and was quite disappointed as it lacked flavour… I have made spring rolls before and aside from choosing a meat, you can use some ginger, Indonesian and regular sauce, maybe even some soy sauce and green onions to season that bad boy up! This was just bland… But very hot and fresh I will say…It disappointed me a but that the appetizer also came out at the same time as my main dish, which meant that the app had to cool down, as my main was cooling down…Piled high was a generous portioning of vermicelli, veggies, pork, beef, and chicken… I took one bite at each piece of meat and was slightly annoyed… I even poured my fish sauce over my noodles and felt that it tasted watered down if that makes sense. My meats lacked the infusion of lemongrass and other spices, however why was it almost tinted red as if I was at T&T buying some BBQ pork? The place has potential but no consistency as to what Vietnamese cuisine should taste like. I will surely not return again and play it safe at another regular spot. Also, for anyone giving this place a positive review re: food… You are not a foodie…

Fantastic. Been coming here a few times a week for the last 5 years and ordering the same thing – C6 (chicken and rice). Incredible food, amazingly fast service, and great prices. What more could you ask for?

My favourite pho restaurant, hands down. The prices are incredibly cheap compared to other places and the food is better than any other in Ottawa. Their beef pho broth is amazing. It has the exact right amount of spices and is always consistent. You get generous portions of meat and rice vermicelli as well. The salad rolls are amazing with the peanut sauce. I am seriously addicted to the food here. Best. Pho. In. Ottawa.

I’ve tried almost every single pho restaurant in the city. This place is so far ahead of the rest it’s ridiculous. Easily the best bowl of pho (beef broth) by a hundred miles. Incredibly consistent and flavors are absolutely amazing. I’ve also been to Vietnam, and the owner of this restaurant makes a pho better than anything available in Hanoi. A must must try. Incredible.
