Best kafta in town!. Authentic Lebanese cuisine, order the kafta platter or sandwich. Platters are served with generous portions, and the kafta is authentic in the sense that they use lamb. Only place in town I go to eat shawarma, best type of shawarma is always kafta, its fresh grilled instead of the dry meats on the roticery. 100% recommend
Hands down best Shawarma in Ottawa. It’s nice to go to a Shawarma place where the they take pride in the taste of the food and customer service. I went once in March and have been going every day since. They always have a good amount of traffic so ingredients are always fresh. Price is good too. Awesome.
Bland, slow service. Ordered a mixed plate. The rice was simply boiled white rice with carrots and peas very bland. The potatoes were soaked in oil (oil which tasted like it has been reused many times) and they were under cooked. The chicken and beef were bland and dry. The service was very slow and annoying. The gentleman at the counter with the long sideburns was very slow and kept making poor jokes that none of us found funny. Took us 15 minutes to get two plates…..that is far too long. They charge more than other places as well. Will not come here and suggest you do not either. There are many other places which are cheaper and have better quality food.
This place was really gross. Bad quality food bad service. They should close it down because its clear the workers don’t want to be there and neither should you. I regretted not going to Harvey’s next door.
BEST Shawarma in town. We have been going to shawarma Planet for almost 3 years now, since they opened. We tried it the first time after we went grocery shopping at the T&T supermarket right across. And that was it, we became addicted to their shawarmas. They have a very good customer service, always welcomed with a smile, always clean, their portions are always generous, and best of all their food is delicious. my kids usually get their TRIO (sandwich*beef or chicken, garlic potatoes and a pop) for less than $ 10. They take their time to grill the sandwich, which gives the pita an extra crunch. Me and hubby get their mixed platter(beef and chicken) which is amazingly good and big in portion, it comes with salad, rice, garlic potatoes, hummus, pickles and garlic and pita bread. they give you more pita if you ask for more. they ve catered for my daughters birthday party and everyone was totally impressed.it is very reasonable in price, clean, friendly and very family oriented.I would def. recommend it.
It was too expensive. They didn’t have the normal wrap, potatoes and drink. I also did. Not like thier garlic sauce. Without good garlic sauce what’s the point of shawarma? ?
Probably the best service you are going to get. The guys are very friendly and remember returning customers. Its not the best schwarma you are going to find but its way better than average. I am not a fan of their potatoes but I am a fan of practically everything else.Great place and definitely worth a try!
