This spot is a little unusual as it’s clear it really is designed as a takeout/delivery spot but ever since we’ve stumbled upon it it’s become one of our preferred spots to have a quiet meal we know we’ll enjoy. It’s an understated experience certainly. but what we enjoy is that we never have to wait for a table, it’s quiet so we can have a day’s debrief together, the staff is charming and attentive but without being in your face our taking interfering with your dining, and most of all the food is good and consistent. Thanks House of Greek, we will be back!

Worst $24 I ever spent.. My husband and I were hungry and just happened to be in front of this restaurant and decided to give it a try. We were greeted right away and given a seat and menus. Good start. The menu looked vast, lots of options but wow the prices were pretty high for what I’d consider to be fast food Greek. The server came back to take our orders; a medium pizza and chicken souvlaki platter (no rice extra salad instead). While waiting for the food we had a chance to look around and actually notice the place. It was shabby, it needed some TLC – the overall atmosphere lacked and besides another couple we were the only ones there. No matter, as long as the food is good. Twenty minutes into the wait we began to notice how cold we were – does this place have any heat? Are they trying to conserve energy? Oh well, we’ll just keep our winter jackets on. As long as the food is good who cares? Finally our food came. Presentation was not good. The pizza looked like it was decimated by the oven and same with my chicken souvlaki. Looks can be deceiving we thought. NOPE, tasted just about as bad as it looked. I’m a bit of a discerning eater but my husband will eat just about anything and even he agreed – THIS FOOD SUCKS. My chicken was more like a jerky, super salty and my salad smelled rotten. The cucumbers I know for sure were rotten, perhaps where the smell was coming from. I will say my potatoes were good but really you could cook the hell out of those and they’d still be good. I only had 4 very small wedges of those though. The pizza looked like the sauce was painted and then dried on, crust like pita bread. I think I could buy a frozen pizza at Super C what would have tasted and looked better. While we were eating a lady walked in and wanted takeout, had never been there before, my husband and I joked about warning her to go somewhere else. The server did ask us how we were doing, we lied and said everything was good (our own fault we should have told the truth, but we’re much too polite. We’d rather trash the place after the fact). I’d say don’t go there, there are other places that are far better, where the food isn’t rotten or cooked to death and better priced. But I really think you should try it to get your own opinion about it. You will most likely not go back.

Horrible. 45.00 dollars for an appetizer platter and 3 souvlaki. Online price was 15.00 less. Dolmades (sour) spanakopita was burned. The calarmari was the best tasting in the app platter but it was cold. The souvlaki platter had very raw rice (I actually broke a tooth on the first bite) (there was no second bite). The Greek salad was pitiful and the soulvaki was decent except the chicken was over marinated and very sour. Tzatziki was like water. HUGE let down.

November Lunch. My first time at The House of Greek. I met two of my sisters for Saturday lunch. We all agreed that the food was delicious and very healthy. The portions were very generous – more than an average person can eat. The service was very friendly. The price was about $12 each. We felt at home and comfortable. This is our family’s new meeting place for lunch, most definitely.

DO NOT RECCOMEND THIS PLACE. Ordered for a family of 5 and took over an hour and a half to get our food. Sometimes the wait is worth while but not in this case. The kids did not even end up eating the food wich was very dry and the salad brown. One of the worst greek spots in town will not be going back and i highly reccomend you dont! So many other options like Kallisto on bank or Greek on wheels

Very disappointed. We ordered delivery… Which took close to 1.5 hours to deliver, apparently some issue with their online system. We gave them the benefit of the doubt. We ordered the chicken souvlaki platter… The meat was over cooked and not well seasoned. The salad was okay, and it only came with one olive… And the olive was horrible! Definitely canned – not what I would expect from a Greek place! Just a disappointing Greek experience overall
